Maybe you’re a Christian. Maybe you’ve been to a church service or a prayer line and had somebody speak healing words of life to you. Maybe you’ve already started down the healing path. Maybe there are lies that have popped up and gotten you off track: “You already got prayer, you don’t need anymore.” “It’s not that big of a deal. Just get over it and move on.” “You shouldn’t need all of this prayer, time, and attention if you’re really saved.” Whichever might apply to you, or even all apply, I’m going to encourage you to get plugged in and to keep going. I’m going to encourage you to give yourself permission, place, priority, and perseverance to heal. In Luke 4:18-19 , NKJV, Jesus tells us that He is the anointed one to preach the gospel: “get people saved.“ Then He continues to say, and heal the brokenhearted, set the captives free, bring sight to the blind, and set at liberty those who are oppressed. So if all of the difficulties of our life went away when we got saved, why does Jesus mention them?
